Fishing’s Future holds Kids Fish Camps© (KFC) and Kids Fly-Fishing Camps© (KFFC) to reconnect kids to parents, nature and the joys found in the great outdoors. Each Kids Fish Camp is structured into five 25 minute stages where Jr. Anglers learn: state rules, regulations and access, fly-fishing knots, rod and reel assembly and rigging, fly-casting strokes, and the “Leave-no-Trace” philosophy for environmental stewardship.
After the educational portion of the Kids Fish Camps, kids are provided an opportunity to utilize their newly acquired skills by fishing. Rounding out the day is the presentation portion where each Jr. Angler is presented a Fishing’s Future Jr. Angler Certificate and a creel full of goodies."
