I have only been with Fishing's Future for a year now. I became a Certified Angler Educator with TPWD in 2015. I have been fishing since I was 3 years old. I was born and raised about 75 miles SW of Amarillo, Texas, so much of my early fishing memories are from family camping trips to the mountains of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado for Rainbow and Brown trout. Around about age 13, I was introduced into the world of saltwater fishing, and to say I was hooked would be an understatement. Since that time I have spent nearly 30 years studying fishing and all species that live in our waters. I have lived near Dallas, Austin, Houston, and now San Antonio and have much experience with bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish, as well as speckled trout, redfish, and flounder. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education from Texas Tech University which is where I get my love for teaching. My love for fishing combined with my love to teach and educate others makes Fishing's Future the perfect match for me.
