Fishing's Future's Greater St. Louis Area Chapter will be holding their first evening Twilight Youth Fish Camp at Forest Park Fish Hatchery starting on Monday June 26th. The Twilight Camp will run 5:30 p.m. to sunset and is open to all family members to attend (those between the ages of 16-65 will be required to have a Missouri Fishing License if they want to fish). The 3-day camp will focus on angler education, fishing skills and environmental stewardship with a good portion of each night’s camp fishing in the MDC ponds. Fishing equipment and bait will be provided. There will be an optional 4th night, family picnic hosted by the BSA Certified Angling Instructors of the Greater St. Louis Area Council. Each participant will get to make and take home their own water bottle fishing rig, custom lure and Missouri Conservation Fishing reference bag. A parent or guardian is required to stay with youth (No Drop Offs).
We are suggesting a donation of $25 per family to Fishing Future to cover material costs. Camp size limited to 30 participants.
