I'm excited to bring Fishing’s Future to the Dallas Environmental Science Academy (DESA) and the surround community to get both the community and the student’s parents more involved with both their children and the school. Secondly, with our school focusing on environmental science, Fishing’s Future’s program will give the students an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate the outdoors and hopefully help the students foster a sense of responsibility when it comes to protecting our natural environment.
I have been fishing since I was about 7 years old. Growing up, most summers I would spend fishing a good majority of the time. In recent years I have been bass fishing exclusively about every weekend or more. I love the outdoors and fishing because they are a good way to relax, have fun, and connect with nature. I also make some of my own fishing lures ranging from soft plastic worms to umbrellas rigs.
In the past, I have worked with the March of Dimes, collected donations and worked a silent auction for Big Brothers & Big Sister, worked hurricane relief efforts back in the Midwest (Indiana).
