Peter B. Caceres

Peter B. Caceres was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and he is currently living in South Padre Island, Texas.  He is the owner and operator, together with his wife Deissy, of Olympian Fitness a fitness studio located in Port Isabel, Texas.  Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Central Missouri State and a Bachelor’s Degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

Professionally Peter has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, sales and marketing in the composites and robotics/automation industries.  He was awarded three USA patents for the invention of consumer’s products.  During his professional career he has held positions as President of Alliance International Group, International Sales & Marketing Manager for Core Molding Technologies,  North American Marketing and Sales Manager for SMAC-Moving Coil Actuators and as an Instructor at The University of Central Missouri State.

In 1980 Peter was selected to run the 800 meters for the Argentinean Olympic Team at the Moscow Olympic Games; however these games were boycotted by most of the western nations as a result of the Russian invasion to Afghanistan and he was not able to participate.

He moved to the USA in 1983 to pursue a full athletic scholarship in track at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas.

At Lamar he won 25 conference titles in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. In 1986 he transferred to Southeast Missouri State University where he won 12 conference titles and one National. 

For the last four years he has been training and participating in Natural Bodybuilding competitions and lately teaching Zumba and Taekwondo at his own fitness studio.


1983 selected to run the 1500 meters at the Pan-American Games in Caracas Venezuela.
1984 selected to run the 3000 meters steeplechase at the Los Angeles Olympic Games.
1987 NCAAII 3000 meters steeplechase National Champion.

Summary: Semi-pro soccer player at age 15, Olympian at age 20, three Argentinean National Track Records, 37 Conference Titles, one NCAAII Title, two times Olympian in Track and Field.

First Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
