People With Disabilities and Friends Fishing – Fort Harrison State Park

Fishing’s Future is once again very excited about partnering with the Indiana DNR in the People with Disabilities and Friends Fishing at beautiful Fort Harrison State Park.

Who should attend (MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND)

* Anyone with a disability who would like to learn more about fishing

and

* Is interested in eating fish or just spend time with others while being outside

Specifics: The afternoon will start out with opportunities to participate at different stations – water safety, casting, knot tying, fish ID. Then we will spend some time actually fishing in Delaware Lake. It is “catch and release” but we will have some fish on the grill ready for participants to try, if they want. All supplies, and volunteers to help, will be provided.
