This event is being held as part of the Vamos A Pescar grant. This is the second event. Each event will be different, so we would like everyone to attend as many events as possible. To help incentives folks to attend multiple events we set up a reward program. Attend 2 events get a rod and reel combo. Attend 4 events get a tackle box full of tackle. Attend the last event get another rod and reel combo. We also have online courses in July and August, which will go towards the incentives. Having folks attend multiple events helps us meet the requirements of the grant.
The dates for the rest of the events are May 21, June 18, and September 10. We will also be hosting live online workshops in July and August.
Basic Fishing II: Will cover knot tying, tackle, bait and lures, fish identification, fish handling, hook removal and fish habitat. Take participants fresh water fishing. End the event with trash pick up.
