His mother, Bianca Knighton, and I meet when she was TPWD Angler Instructor Certified and she brought Kole with her.
Kole has such a passion for fishing, and he has been helping, along with his mom and other anglers from his team at various Fishing’s Future events.
At one of the events, I noticed his Sunglasses where really, really, I mean really scratched. I started talking to him about Flying Fisherman Sunglasses (https://www.flyingfisherman.com) and I decided to give him my spare pare since he has been doing a lot for us at Fishing’s Future.
on Oct. 26, 2024 his mom sent me some pictures that he placed 4th at the THSBA – Lake Summerville – Houston Division. But he caught 7.41 lbs Large Mouth Bass to win BIG BASS.
just wanted to congratulate this young man and also thank him and his mom for all their help.
Here is a little about this young man, and look at the BIG BASS Photo, YEP! he is waring those Flying Fisherman Sunglasses. He did win a pair of Coasta’s but just maybe those good luck Flying Fisherman sunglass still has some magic left in them.
From The Heart
My passion for fishing is in my blood…. My dad has spent most of his life fishing with his dad primarily on Sam Rayburn growing up. My parents bought a boat when I was about 18 mths old and we have been fishing as a family ever since. My papa loved fishing and while I never had the pleasure to fish with him, we did spend time talking about fishing and him teaching me what he could from the house. I’m not big into sports or instruments so when I found out the high school had a fishing team I gave it a lot of thought and decided to try.
My dad is my boat captain and has been all three years I have fished for the high school team. We really enjoy the bonding time and mom even goes along with us when I don’t have a partner that takes her boat seat. Fishing is for Family and there is where my family likes to be!
Objective
I would like to be the best Ethical and Environmentally friendly Angler I can be. My goal is to be in the top 20 each year during High School and go on to be on a College Fishing Team.
